The Intersection of Design, Empathy, Art, and Craft

I am a Lead Product Designer with over 7 years of experience building digital solutions for the fintech and healthcare sectors. My journey started with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, but it was my Master of Design (M.Des) from IISc Bangalore that truly redefined how I observe the world and solve problems.

Digital Product Journey

Throughout my career, I’ve navigated the complexities of both B2C and B2B ecosystems. I began my path at Medlife, where I helped shape the healthcare experience until its acquisition by PharmEasy in 2021. Since then, I’ve worked with industry leaders like Cashfree Payments and Prudential, leading design systems and international product launches. My background in high-growth e-commerce has given me a deep understanding of how to scale platforms while keeping the user at the heart of the experience.

The 'Kitchni' Chapter

I believe that great design isn't limited to pixels. In 2025, I followed my passion for wood arts and furniture design by taking a one-year sabbatical to found Kitchni.

What started as a hobby of restoring old items turned into a successful handcrafted brand specializing in single-wood cutting boards. I built a small, dedicated team and automated the system so that it now runs smoothly on Amazon India. This entrepreneurial "break" actually sharpened my UI/UX skills—teaching me the real-world mechanics of e-commerce, brand building, and customer empathy from the ground up.

My Philosophy

Whether I am carving a piece of wood or architecting a financial design system, my approach remains the same: Observation, Empathy, and Precision. I spend my free time in my workshop, where the tactile nature of woodworking informs the digital products I build—reminding me that every detail matters.

Work Experience

Medlife

March 2021 -

Pharmeasy.in

I started as a UI designer at Medlife. It was an online healthcare platform offering online medicine, lab tests, etc. Initially, I was handling the UI part of the Medlife customer app and gradually I got the chance to work with the UX team. I learned the system and worked as the key designer for Medlife's order management system called Magnum. As I’m interested in illustrations and iconography, I was a part of developing Medlife's material design guidelines. I worked with Medlife for around 3 years. In 2020, Medlife was acquired by Pharmeasy.

I worked with PharmEasy as a Senior UX Designer on a contract basis. They are also in the online healthcare sector. My major contributions include the Therapy browsing experience, Partner portal design, Motion graphics, and detailing the micro-interactions.
